As with any controversial, highly publicized and dramatic issue as global warming, there are many points of view. It should not be expected that everyone will have the same understanding of these historic circumstances. In fact, emotions run very high when the possibility of the end of life as we know it presents itself. Some persons take the threat seriously while others look for any way to discredit the possibility. Granted, there have been times when scientists predicted disaster and the feared event never happened.

Amid a flurry of green initiatives from bio-fuels to solar power to wind power and more, everything we manufacture and use comes under scrutiny. That being said, can software be green? There are more ways than one.
New software is being developed to monitor and evaluate the efficiency of renewable energy systems as these new systems are being developed. As with any newly emerging technology, tracking of results is critical for rapid development and long-term management. Read more …

That depends on who you ask and when. There are many proponents and opponents to genetic engineering in agriculture, and these attitudes tend to change over time. As humans discover new ideas and innovations, it often takes time for these ideas to become accepted or popular. Some never become popular. Others have changed the world for the better.
